Hello, I’m Hannah!
I am a friendly and upbeat music graduate from Newcastle University based in Farnham, Surrey. I specialise with teaching children of all ages, abilities and musical interests.
I have taught music privately for almost three years, and tailor lessons specifically to help nurture the love and excitement for music from an early age. I help to guide the individual interests of each student whether they are keen to learn classical, pop, jazz or a bit of everything.
I believe there is a wider spectrum to becoming a musician than solely learning to play an instrument, so no matter what age or ability of the student the lessons will incorporate different essential aspects of music in a fun dynamic way! Such aspects include listening and appraising skills, theory, improvisation, composition and getting creative with everything we do!
I teach from my home but I am also willing to travel depending on my timetable. I bring a warm and friendly atmosphere to the lessons to help children to feel comfortable. If you’d like to find out more, drop me a message below or give me call.

I liked it when you gave out some stickers. Hannah is a brilliant teacher because she is very calm and relaxed. I learnt a lot in a short time with Hannah because she is so good. She really helps you when you get stuck.
